BloomSouth, incorporated in 1999, traces its tradition of quality and service back almost 50 years to its namesake Bloom, South & Gurney. President and founder Weston Hardy has over 26 years commercial flooring experience starting with the original company to becoming Sr. VP at Congress Flooring. Most of our sales and support staff, installers, project managers and estimators originate from one of these two former industry-leading companies. Their product knowledge and field experience is one of our key assets.

BloomSouth is: John D'Ambrosio - chief estimator, has over 22 years as an estimator in this business, from Circle Floors to many years at Congress. Bethany Broyer - contract sales, has over 15 years in the flooring business, specializing in government and public work. Robert Bullard - project manager, has a unique background of earlier careers in legal/accounting businesses, which adds to his past 5 years in the tile and flooring industry. Jerome Layman - V.Pres/Finance, has over 25 years in the accounting side of business-from his early days in the banking industry to the successful financial growth in the 80's and 90's of a direct mail company, he brings invaluable financial constraints and reporting assets to our organization. John Medeiros - project manager, several years ago started his career at Unicon Floors, and has progressed through all disciplines of BSF's business from estimating to field coordination. Michael Toohey - V.Pres/Sales, has over 20 years in the commercial flooring industry, most at Congress where he was a VP. Chris Masson - estimator, started his floorcovering carreer at ReSource-Congress Flooring - training under John D'Ambrosio. He joined our team in August 2002. Steve Allan - field operations manager, has over 20 years installation experience in all aspects of flooring. He has previously run various labor operations, both at Congress and on his own. He leads by example to achieve quality and efficiency in our field installation crews. Mike Raposa - field foreman, with over 12 years of union floorcovering experience, Mike has run such major jobs as Fidelity, Bose, Genzyme, etc. He coordinates field labor and scheduling with Steve Allan.
Our key support staff of: Kathy Fitzgibbon - admin. asst. & office mngr.; Mike Gossic - warehouse mngr. and Bob Amaral - deliveries and warehouse,all bring a level of professionalism to BloomSouth that is instrumental to our success.

BloomSouth is proud to announce that in August '02 we were awarded the Statewide Floor Covering Contract - FAC25. This three year contract with four renewal years, offers most government related agencies (municipalities, schools, colleges, etc.) the opportunity to take advantage of the contract, which was solicited and awarded by Operational Services Division, the procurement agency of The Commonwealth. BloomSouth also specializes in Food Processing/Production Floors - known as "acid-proof" brick flooring. Servicing such customers as Kens Foods, Good Humor/Breyers, Garelick Farms, FritoLay, etc. - we have both experienced installers and the technical knowledge for new installations as well as yearly maintenance contracts throughout greater New England and as far away as Georgia.
