This high-end lobby renovation project with DIMEO Construction necessitated pre-construction detail and budgeting reviews. It entailed closely working with Jim Burnard of ColorCo Ltd. in preparation to have all the polished granite tile water-jet cut to insure the architects design in the final installation. This minimized on-site cutting labor and made the off-hours install more efficient as the tile was then laid out and installed "like a puzzle", resulting in this visually striking entry that the architect and owner desired, while keeping lobby and entry traffic patterns open to tenants and customers.
